South Jersey Garden Railroad Society - JGRS was started in 1994 with four families (a small but enthusiastic train group) getting together to talk about setting up outside layouts. Over the years, we have interested new members in getting their trains out in the garden.

South Jersey S Gaugers - Based on A.C. Gilbert Inc. American Flyer trains, "S" scale modeling has grown into a wide multi-faceted hobby. Many of our members are collectors and collector/operators of classic American Flyer trains.

Amtrak - The National Railroad Passenger Corporation.

Cape May Seashore Lines - CAPE MAY SEASHORE LINES... offers two excursion services. One is a 30 mile round trip between Richland and Tuckahoe. The other is a 22 mile round trip between Cape May Court House, Cold Spring Village and Cape May City.

Carolwood Foundation - The Carolwood Foundation and Society is dedicated to preserving the personal railroad legacy of Walt Disney.

National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) - Formed in 1935, and dedicated to preserving what has passed, and what lay ahead in railroading.

New Jersey Railroad Information - When people think of the Garden State, rarely does railroading come to mind...unless they are rail fans or look out of the plane window while landing at Newark Airport.

New Jersey Transit - J TRANSIT operates the state's commuter rail network. The rail system features 11 lines in three divisions. Customers can transfer between all lines, except Atlantic City Rail Line, at the new Secaucus Junction station.

Travel Back to Railroad History - Roads of rails, referred to as wagonways, were first used in Germany as early as 1550. Consisting of wooden rails, these earliest railed roads allowed carts and horse-drawn wagons to move more easily compared to on dirt roads.
